Interesting study: 14 tell-tale signs of a fascist regime

Those 14 things are all the most basic ways to control a populace by a centralized government. They've been used since the earliest recorded histories by most governments, from the Orient to the Americas, even by many so called 'democratic' or 'republic' style governments. Canada, the USA and Great Britian used most if not all of those methods up to the early 1900s, especially prior to the 1970s. Even now, you can look at most 'democratic' or 'republic' governments and see most of the 14 factors at work, from the EU to Americas.

These aren't specific to any one form of government.

I apologize if you think took my joke as being serious. I meant to only reference the FBI as a KGB or Gestapo type orginization of former soviet and Nazi political parties. I do however, find it funny that you automatically assumed that i was being serious in any way.

I never said in one way or not i agreed with any of the 14 points. I just thought you'd pick up on the alliteration of "IF" you didn't agree with them, you'd hear a knock on the door and at the door was the FBI to take you away. Much like the days of the Soviets and Nazis, so on and so forth.
