I played the first one a year ago. I didn't mind spending a few days to learn how to pass basic training. I hated the fact of 1 bullet killing me and waiting till the game is over to play again. Other than that the game was good. I wouldn't pay to play though.

I played fer a half hour. Also most like a more strict version of counter strike. Overall is an average game. But what did i expect for free :P

I took a break from ET and played it for a little bit. It was pretty good, but I wish I could have just played it right away instead of having to go through all the Training.

I passed the med test with a 98%. Only problem i'm having is the advanced marksman. They want me to shoot an unexploded mortar round. But I think i'm shooting at the wrong thing :D

I agree.

The biggest thing I hated was dying in the first few minutes then waiting 10 minutes until everyone else was dead. I'd rather play a less real FPS like BF2. An FPS where I can respawn in 15 seconds and get back into the game.

I'm playing the newer special forces. You really have to shoot someone to kill them. I nailed people at least 6 times before they dropped. Plus you have medics on your team. I like to respawn quick also, but some people can't run BF2 ahhhem. It's the only game I played latley that I get better graphics than RTCW & ET without it "skipping" So to answer my own question.. yeah it's worth it. I might actually set up a non 'Ranked' server for a month and see what happens.

TO get advanced markmenship lower your resolution all the way down and try it again. If you still can't get it turn it all the way up. and try it again.

Learn to use the aimed mode. On the advanced maps you will see a little spec of someone moving around, put your sights up and nail him a couple times, 0.10 seconds later map is over.
