The 164 is a good CPU, BTW. The 144 is just the killer deal. Search the AMD forums for how well they overclock(most do well).

You know, I have told you where to go so you can see for yourself you do not need ecc ram, you ignore it an keep repeating the same incorrect information over and over.

I am looking at a computer right now running an opty 144 and has corsair value select DDR400 ram in it. This is impossible according to you.

Ok, I looked it up, they are dumping chips from 940 to 939 on the low end that they can't get rid of fast enough.
