He is a martyr now to the terrorists.

Every organization has a leader and without a strong leader, frequently the organization falls apart. Hopefully that will be the case here.

Al-Qaida in Iraq confirmed al-Zarqawi’s death and vowed to continue its “holy war,” according to a statement posted on a Web site.

Okay, big deal... so they will continue to fight their "holy war".... Yawn.

Al Qaeda in Iraq was one of many different factions fighting the multi national forces...they're not going to pack up and go home overnight,in the next few weeks, wait for a large VBIED that kills dozens,if not hundreds.

This is just a minor set back for Al Qaeda, nothing more. I am very sure that they have a plan 'B' in place if a leader of theirs ever got killed.

Sure, I'm happy Zarqawi is dead, but it changes NOTHING.

This guy was so crazy that he had groups within al-q fighting each other. I think his own group turned him in. I think there will be very little backlash or improvement but I am glad the SOB is dead. He is the guy that chopped off the heads of those hosteges. Piss on him!
