I know the French get bashed too much, I think it boils down to two things:

One:
The picture of French citizens lining the streets of Paris, crying and clapping, watching the Germans march in. Bad move. Better to let Paris look like a ghost town that day. People get beat, and to be fair getting beat by the Germans was pretty much en vogue that year. But there's getting beat, and then there's....well, standing around crying and watching the Germans march into your capitol city. It looked a little bit too much like total capitulation.

Two:
Their attitude years later. Pride and dignity is one thing, shitting over everyone else is another. Yeah, plenty of countries are overly arrogant, I do mean plenty--as in the US as well. But sometimes it's better to be a little more humble with your neighbors when they've seen you on your knees that often.

Can anyone translate french I really am interested in knowing what they said when they saw the rocket go nowhere. That was priceless...I was just sitting there for the whole video like ok whats going to happen...Then I see like 20 seconds left on the video and I started to question if this wasnt another one of those pop up scare things then the rocket clicked and I could not help but laugh :lol:

I wonder what they were saying before the rocket was fired lol...that was awsome...

These are spam bots. We get several registration requests a day from these, most don't follow up and never actually post spam.

We,re about to change forums, so hopefully the new version will have options to prevent this.
