Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Isn't this forum software made by the same people that made the old forum software? I understand that they had to close up security gaps, but why remove functionality like having a kind of 'lobby' where all the newest posts were displayed, stuff like that? Is there no updated version of the old forum, same as ever minus the security holes?

I assume you are referring to the frontpage where it would display the latest posts. This was actually done by vbportal, which is a frontend that ties into vbulletin. Since we are not using vbportal for the main website that isnt something that can be done easily.
However, you can go to Quick Links and then Today's Posts to get similar output.

Because of the redirect page that you get when you go to
http://www.ecgnetwork.com/, I think we will loose a number of people. Any way to remove the auto redirect and have a more visible forum link?

I don't understand what you mean.

The main problem is that underlining is disabled on that page, so it is not obvious that there is a link. I bet a lot of people will just see the part that says "We're proud to be revamping and enhancing" and think the forums are down, then move on to another site.

Happened to me. I kept going to that page and though that was it. Was not aware that I had to click the bottom part, I thought it was just some company add.

They told me on Vent that it was back up or I might never have known.

OK I see what you mean.
