Re: PC Problems :(
Could you have knocked loose the hold-downs on the memory while working on the Lite-on? This almost seems like it is not seeing the memory.- thoughts Darknut?
Try this-Do NOT do this while standing on a rug!
Unplug the pc from power wait 10 seconds for the MotherBoard to power down or until all leds go out on the motherboard. GROUND yourself to the case's static potential by touching the inside frame of the PC before proceeding. Release both ends of the memory hold-downs by pressing downward at the same time. The memory stick will pop up out of the slot. Reseat the stick by aligning it properly in the slot and pushing it back in on both ends. It will take some pressure, but do not force it. If you have to force it, it is not aligned properly.
Repeat this will all sticks.
How many sticks of RAM do you have. If you have more than 2 try booting up with only 2, the original 2 sticks of Ram. Does it see it; does the system see it after reseating the RAM?
BTW did you try my suggestion on pulling the power and the battery and let it sit for 10 minutes or better yet 1 or more hours to flush the BIOS? OR you could follow the motherboard manual and use the jumper to reset bios, but sometimes completely pulling power so the BIOS settings die is best

All fans power on(PSU, Rear, Side, Vid card, Heatsink)
I have taken the ram out alltogether, stuck one of them back in, same problem, stuck it in the other slot, same problem. I also did this with my other stick of ram.
I will try the battery for ten minutes.
I am not sure what you guys are thinking, but i am pretty sure its the Motherboard at this point.
Vid card works fine in another comp.
Monitor works fine
I get no beeps when starting the computer without HDD & Dvd Rom hooked up.
I may have sent a lightining shock through the system when I put in the DVD burner, I didnt take a whol elot of care like I typically do.

My thoughts are to reset the BIOS settings. I have resurrected more than a few MBs that way.
Maybe it is time to get a new MB. - Upgrade time?;)

Re: PC Problems :(
You can clear the CMOS by removing the battery on your mother board for several minutes then re-seating it.
I've seen problems like this before and it just needed a BIOS reset.

You may need to get some cpu thermal paste or a thermal pad to put between the CPU and heatsink. I always use Artic Silver 5
The old pad or paste will probably be useless and will need to be removed and replaced.
Do you have a sound card or does the new board have onboard sound?

Re: PC Problems :(
You will need to clean your old CPU and Heatsink and reapply the thermal paste. Don't gunk the thermal paste on, a nice thin but even layer of it will do the trick. Once you've done that, don't touch either surface with your fingers--the shiny metal on top of the CPU or the gray thermal gunk on the heatsink.
Like others have mentioned, when you do anything in the computer, ground yourself out first. If you want to really take care of it, you can pick up a grounding wrist strap from radio shack for about $5. Regardless of how you do it, what you want to happen is an electrical connection between you and something that's grounded, like the frame of your computer case when--assuming it's plugged in (not turned on of course). Even if you don't see an electric spark, your body can carry and deliver a couple of hundred volts of static, no lighting at all. Sometimes it doesn't immediately kill your equipment, it can actually die a few months later.
Take your time and very carefully lift the little lever next to the socket, and very carefully place the cpu in the socket. It only goes in one way, so carefully examine the pattern of holes in the socket and the pattern of pins on your new CPU. It will be obvious. The CPU just drops right in.
Oh yeah, take your time and make it nice and neat. Resist the urge to just slap it together. Route the wires/cables neatly, it helps with the airflow and makes it easier if you have to troubleshoot your setup. Be sure to keep track of standoff connectors, they connect your old mobo to your case. In the off chance that your new mobo is missing it's accessory package, you'll need them and they can be a pain in the ass to replace.

Did you order the same motherboard? If not there is a possibility of having to completely reload Windows.
When you install windows it compiles itself based on your model of processor and certain chipsets on your motherboard. If they are different you won't be able to just swap them. I'm pretty sure you can still do a repair installation though. You'll just have to run Windows Update and get all your patches again but you won't have to reconfigure everything and install all your other programs. Let me know if you have any troubles.

Re: PC Problems :(
You guys know if I NEED to have an IDE drive hooked up to this Mobo? I have both DVD and HDD hooked up with Sata.
Also which slots should I have the pin connectors in to tell the HDD weather its slave master.....
I was trying to get it going, I think I have everything hooked back up where it shoudl be going, but when I turn it on it told me that there is no system on disk. I put the windows XP cd in my DVD drive, now it sits at configuring system hardware for an extreme amount of time. I haev rebooted twice when it was at that screen. In the BIOS I looked for a boot sequence but nothign allows me to select a SATA drive.
When I start it up it recognizes the Vid card, HDD, DVD burner, and Memory(atleast that is what I take from that screen in 5 seconds).
