Amaryl, when we play coop the ingame commands aren't really used. We use TS to talk to each other. You will only play one person, not a squad of 8. I still do not understand the waypoint system in the single game. Alpha Bravo Charlie Go-code what????

Yep your sytem is on par with mine.

I have athlon 1800+ and 512 ddr, but I am running a 128MB Radeon 9500 pro.

Also, it looks better on my comp. I had to decrease the resolution almost to about 60% to get it small enough to be able to be posted. This card is the shit for the money.

Hey Guys, it's the corpse defiler here. Just wanted to let you all know that MmmGood will be testing a Raven Shield server in about a week. I think they will likely wait for the 1.2 patch (due out anytime) because it has Linux support. Also, for those ASE users, we will have a Raven Shield filter there within about a week. That is super good news because the Ubi in-game browser is SOOOO bad.

I think the TeamSpeak General Server is working fine for us now - until we get an ECGN server set up. So I would suggest that anyone who's the first to start playing Raven Shield for the evening start up a Raven Shield TS channel on TS General #1. That way the first thing you can do is go right there and find out where everyone is playing.

Sorry I couldn't play this evening. Major headache.

For a new map, grab Open Market v.2 - very well done.

Also, shoot version 1.6 works great with RS. I haven't tried it with BF1942 yet.

If you have a best buy card I would suggest going to bestbuy.com and buying the 9500 pro. (If they still have the financing plan).

I got my card for $220 with a $20 rebate and no interest financing until Jan 2004, if ordered online.

The 9500 pro is going away. They are replacing that line with the 9600, which is vastly inferior. Radeon was not making money on the 9500 pro. It costs too much for the price they were introducing it for. (My info is from Tom's Hardware online).

So get a 9500 pro now... the equivalent will probably be more expensive in the near future.
