I hear ya! Been doing computer networking since 1984. I still like the work, but I'm starting to think I might want to try something else. Problem is I didn't invest wisely in my younger years and I need the $$ to catch up... (let that be a lesson to you young folks - those that are 25 and older, the clock is ticking. Next thing you know, You're 38 and...)

Well let's see here... I am a full time smart ass, forum whore (DAMN YOU GOOD, I EARNED THAT TITLE!!!), and all around sick bastard. I am associated with (but not employed by) the ECGN Radio station
Listen here and usually broadcast during the work day/work week. I also help admin the 2 ECGN BF servers. Outside of my PC addictions, I play pool (poorly), read rather heavily, and have been working on my rusty writing skills...

I am, mainly, a mainframe programmer (Independent Consultant). I write code in RPG for the AS/400. I have been working in the Manufacturing indeustry for the last several years; previous to that I had used my skills in several other industries. However, with most of IT being outsourced to India these days, work has been hard to come by. I also write web appications; I was in a partnership with a friend of mine doing a dating site. Unfortunately, we had difference of opinions, so now we have different paths and differnent friends. Currently, my family and I have investted in a crab meat packing plant in North Carolina. So, I will be operating a Crab Meat Plant. The previous owner did not make use of Technology, so I am going to bring the company into the 21 Century.
