I think he means just the actors, not the characters. While the 101st was pegged to go to the Pacific Theater, they never did with the quick end to the war due toe the atomic bombs and Russia walking over the Japanise armies in Manchuria, basicly isolating their army from any form on contact with Japan. Many believe it was the two atomic bombs that brought the end of the war, but it was actually both added together.

I do see some of these actors coming back, especially if the same writers are used. Many of these actors are either starring in Boomtown, or have had guest apperances on Boomtown. Boomtown, of course, was written by the same writer(s). It is also a very good show in it's ownright, and I suggest giving the show a try.
