About 20 years ago Johnny Cash played in my home town. Sadly I was working while he was playing but after I got off work me and a couple of the lads stopped by for a beer at the hotel Johnny was staying at. This hotel has a real nice atrium(sp?) with the inner rooms looking in on the atrium. Anywho we didn't know Johnny was there until one of his crew called down from his balconey to Johnny. Johnny was across the atrium from us and he was busy with his crew and some fans but it was pretty cool to be that close to someone that famous. We didn't get many famous people back then...we still don't lol.

Heard on the radio today Jimmy Holywood (sp?) talking about how when he first started some 40 years ago he went to interview Johnny Cash at some hotel and when he was done he went to the room next door and interviewed Tex Ritter and who should be there but his 12 year old son John Ritter. It's a small world.

Cheers!!

I liked John Ritter a great deal as an actor. He shall be missed.
