How do Canadians like being run by the U.N.?

Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Canada is world leader when it comes to human rights. i don't think you'll find a country with better human rights. we have the charter of rights and freedoms, which is something some citizens in other countries can only dream about.

Canada does not HAVE to pass this law. It was a recommendation. Canada, being a human rights leader, will probably pass the law.

We aren't run by the UN. they made a suggestion, and we'll probably follow it. Nothing is FORCING us too. That is in NO WAY, bending over and grabbing our ankles for the UN.

I'm so tired with reading posts that deal with Canada/US and which is better etc.

This thread has accomplished nothing, besides making me lose respect for the person who started it **ahem** and it should be closed before someone says something they don't mean to.
