Because advanced time isn't universal. Some countries/states/provinces looked at the concept and said "this is a load of crap", in which they were right. :P

Not exactly sure but I heard a previous governer here was trying to make them change and the people didn't want it... it becomes a pain in the ass for me because the company i work for is based in newark, and even though we don't change the time here we have to make changes in our schedule:roll: which is very lame

Up here in Saskatchewan, they don't observe daylight savings. Of course, they're the most inbred province. I was down in South America a while back and they didn't observe it down there either.
