Sorry to hear that you are stepping down. I think you did a heck of a job at your position. I want to thank you for all of your help. I am glad that you are still going to stick around. BTW anytime you want Bossman kicked just let me know.

You always seemed to be a fair admin, sorry to hear you're stepping down but I certainly understand. I've been in the stressed out territory too in the last few months and I think you're making the right decision. You know what's best for you.
As far as enjoying the game more, I agree that you'll have more fun now. Just squeeze a few offf into Dommy or Harry that always makes me feel better (oh man, that didn't come out right)

Glad to hear it man. You never want to do something that stresses you out. Listen to some Jazz drink some tea and smash inanimate objects. I know Battlefield can be stressfull some times when everything seems to be going against you. Luckily I have a bench press right next to my comp, needless to say Battlefield has proved a valuable part of my workout routine.
Do you guys get payed for admining? If not what are you thinking?
Best of luck Ryan.

It's a tough decision to make, and it takes a lot of courage to make one like this. But, this IS just a game - your personal life always takes precedence. So, best of luck in getting back on track, and I'll look forward to killing you as often as possible when you're on - I'm glad you're planning to stick around too.
Let me know if I can do anything to help.
I couldn't agree with this more...ditto from Tommy.
This is just a game of course...
Bon courage!

Any you pissed me off. Then I came home. And I'm still pissed off. So, as I leave ECGN and go elsewhere (not that you give a shit) I'm just curious.
What are you "sorry" for? Personally, I'm not buying it. Looks more like a "feel sorry for me" post.
But thats just my opinion.

I'm about as far from a stat whore as you will find. I usually have twice as many deaths as kills, and I'm all for getting rid of the stats page alltogether. ECGN isn't the small operation it used to be that's for sure, and I very much doubt you can go back without dumping the free severs. (maybe that's something you should consider if you don't like where the operation is headed)
Anyways, Cheats are a huge problem for BF1942. It's pretty sad when you can just do a search on google for BF1942 Hacks and get 20,400 results.
ECGN is pretty much the only server you can even use Merciless on anymore. Why? Because it's beyond simplitic to cheat in Battlefield. The hackers have done what they always do: punish the honest players.
Did you know one of these texture cheats puts an Arrow over your head? Try hiding behind a sandbag greying a flag out with a 20ft high Red arrow screaming "Put tank shell here"

Just because you aren't a 'stat whore' doesnt mean your not quilty of whining. FFS, your the BIGGEST whiner here on these forums. Let me give you an example:

Unecessary. Please, let me throw a pity party for you.

Slogg, this is probably none of my business, but I think the reason why the thread of those quotes was deleted, is because this should be a private conversation... Just a 'hint'.
I'm sorry to see you step down Ryan. I hope you will be back soon.

The-Slogg... Without people like Ryan you wouldn't have a 64 man BF1942 server with excellent admins and TS channels for free. Thats pretty poor that your flaming at him when hes done countless things for us.

Tis no 'feel sorry for me' post. Im trying to apologise to you for flaming you, but you don't have to forgive me if you dont wish. Im admitting my mistake, and asking for your forgiveness.
Now, whether or not you leave ECGN is entirely up to you.

Oh and Slog have you ever heard the saying:
'Sticks and Stones may break my bones,
but words will never hurt me'
Get over it, move on I personally think its silly for anyone to get upset at anything posted here.
