Any other options that you've used? For me, when that happened to me, I ask a friend and he recommends one for me to use: http://www.primovpn.net.
It works well for me :D

That's for lan. For overall gaming you generally want it lower since output is not so much important as latency. Tho generally yeah, default is fine unless if you're a tweak geek.

Windows NT/ME is not supported around half a decade...get new OS. If you can't handle much due low cpu/ram at least grab XP and lock it down..if memory is an issue XP will be fine on 512 etc.. And in that case grab chrome or opera as browser since firefox is a memory hog. Running NT/Me is completely inadequate for this era.

You guys are responding to some very old post. Like 10 years ago when XP was new.
