Took four tries to get 11100 and I'm still not sure what I'm doing.

I don't think that there's a "correct" order - rather there are various combinations of events that can lead to a high score.
I.e. the bubbles reaching the mountain at various intervals or the whirlwind reaching the pinwheel at a given time. I speculate that there are various patterns of interaction between the objects, certain objects are soley dependant on others while some are independant and others perhaps dependant on more than one or maybe even all.
That's my hypothesis, and I think that's the point of the game.
