I think the last book will come out some time around 2008...But I think J.K Rowling will juice this one for all its got, so I'm betting it will be a while before the 7th book is released...Also if they want the books to finish almost in order with the movies they would have to time them out correctly...Since they have started the 5th movie it will come out within the next year...by then they will start the 6th and between when the 6th is complete J.K Rowling will have to have her 7th book out in order for the movie to be released with the same actors and everything without killing the books or viseversa....I think what will end up happening will be that when the 6th movie is released soon after the 7th book will also be released...Likely have the book come out that summer and have the 6th movie during fall or spring/winter...they will find a way to accomidate everything...

The have usually been released in 4 year incriments...But not they cant wait that long with the movies and all...I dunno though./..

Publishing dates for the 6 books:
1:June 97
2:July 98
3:July 99
4:July 2000
5:June 2003
6:July 2005
But that said since 4 was published she has been spending a lot of time on the films and between 5 and 6 she did get married and take time off so...
Basically it could be in June or July any time between now and 2020. I'd say the safe money was probably on 07 though as they are gonna be pushing to get it ready for scripting so they can get to filming it.
