Political Threads

Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Political Threads should be dealt with in the following manner:

That would be my suggestion. I can see why the PT's were banned though: there are people who once they have used up all their arguments and logical conclusions just go into bashing the other guy relentlessly. It's not discussion then, it's just a worthless flame-fest that gets us no where.

Talk about sticking your chin out. Tango I seem to remember you being a main contributor in the political threads. Admit it you love being personally attacked and given attention.

Heres my opinion whether you want it or not. For the most part when political threads were not banned and able to roam free I kept quiet. Although I would read through each and everyone and read what everone had to say. Every political thread I read through there was sure enough something there that would offend me. I kept my anger and opinions to myself because I know I would piss people off and offend them in reply to what angered me in the first place. I dont feel the need for either Political or Religious/Religion threads. No matter WHAT someone will get offened.

Now the fact that my brother and many friends of the family are over in Iraq does/did play a huge role in why I got so offened at those threads.

You guys have to remember most of you are regulars to a FREE server and FREE forums. Why complain if there are a few rules to something that is FREE. You guys must also remember the staff here are trying to run a business don't get in their way with silly little shit like this. Get over it guys Political threads are done for and they shouldve been a long time ago. No offense but some of you say they dumbest things in those threads (when you get mad), its basically like matching up someone who thinks they know everything against the same person who thinks they know everything. Thats just a non-stop never-ending flame war.

Dont try and fight this guys. Remember they are trying to run a business, try and remember that. If we start making them lose customers by acting imature or saying/doing stupid things on their server and forums they can take away the public servers...which I doubt they would because it isn't that bad yet...but if you dont have rules you never know what could happen...everyone gets carried away at times inlcuding me.

I think we should just let this one go. Im sure they all thought long and hard on this one and all decided political threads arent the type of stuff they need on the forums.

but those companies dont get tax breaks for hiring on illegals. Most outsourcing companies do.

you also have the option to not hire companies that have "illegals"and what not to cut your grass, roof your house, reside your house, and a thousand other things. But technical jobs that americans go to school for? its done cheaper over seas. And those companies are given the tax breaks.

you could always pay more and have a union company or a private contracter that has only americans do the work but some people would claim that thats too expensive. might as well have those mexicans roof your house.

IMO the reason why there are no political threads allowed has already been difined by some of the bashing/immature posts in this thread. Telling people to "fuck themselves" and and so on is not needed here. Some people can't handle threads like this. Some people on this forum are just a bit to immature to answer to anything. Some people are just plain mean. All I can suggest to you all is to ignore the assholes and find trouble elsewhere. Same for political threads, find them elsewhere. :)

Please no one take my post offensively. I'm sure this thread will be locked soon anyway. But all these comments were my sole opinions. :)

No, I put that in because I can assume it is safe to say that this is a political thread. I just don't want anyone getting mad at me for expressing my opinion, Deathboob. :)

Edit: The extra "o" on "deathbob" was an accident! I swear!! :D
