Also saw the punter for the Giants get knocked out. He never saw the hit coming.

WRONG!

Panthers :blow: Panthers!

Panthers were worse at holding onto the ball than Edgerrin James!

I have to agree....panthers bobbled the ball more than a drunk clown at a birthday party.:freak:

Don't count the Cowboys out yet... they lost to a damn good Vikings team on their home turf. I'm anxious to see who wins the Minn/Phil game next week.

Roger that Levar I admit to being a homer but I am somewhat older and remember the Vikings being very good and going very far many a time and dissapointing but this years team looks good.

Don't feel bad about your 'Boys They played a good game and had a few errors. Parcells is not the kind of coach to allow those types of error to reoccur. They looked good on the field and as long as you keep using max protect packages to keep Vinnie off his ass you'll do good. Hell he threw for something like 350 yards.

Like I mentioned earlier I was at the game. Many times Moss lined up solo on my side of the field and they would have a corner and safety/linebacker over there with the other safety sitting 15 yards downfield! This used to work for teams as Randy merits that kind of coverage but as you saw on Sunday Minnesota FINALLY has other receiving options than Moss. Not just other receivers either but runners out of the backfield.

And too all you naysayers who listen to the Jerkoff media, the media that he doesn't like to talk to so they trash him, he plays a complete game now. Doesn't slack off on plays. FEAR RANDY MOSS!

The play were Onterio Smith ran 63 yards for a touchdown was across the field and Moss lined up on the near side. Smith catches the ball and is running down the left side of the field. Moss takes off from the line of scrimmage all the way over to the right and crosses the entire field and knocks off the guy chasing Smith.

I have never seen a human being move as fast as Moss did.

Don't worry Levar we will knock off the overrated Eagles next week and you can be tied with them this early in the season.:D

Do us a favor back though and later this year absolutely DOMINATE the Packers like the Cowboys did in the 90's. First half of the 90's the Cowboys just owned the Packers and we in Minnesota would appreciate you doing it once more for old times sake.:D

Seeing that there's many passionate NFL fans here.

Havoc, I think you should start a Official NFL Smacktalk Thread at the end of every Sunday throughout the season.

NFL Week 1 Smacktalk

NFL Week 2 Smacktalk

NFL Week 3 Smacktalk

etc...

This way we won't have a thread over 20 pages long and we can easily keep track of whats happening throughout the season.

Any other thoughts/ideas?

Onterio Smith ran 63 yards for a touchdown

Northern California boy there! If he can stay away from temptations (drugs, etc.), dude will go far. Vikes look good this year. We'll see when they go head-to-head with Philly and with the rematch vs. Dallas.... 12-4 is my prediction

Levar and Sir Loin, I can certainly tell you're from Texas. I lived there for awhile (graduated HS in Ft. Worth). Man, when the 'Boys lose...it's like Black Monday... They'll rebound though and probably win 10-11...

I'm a No. Cal. boy now though. My Raiders looked like crap (actually, Gannon, Sapp, and Washington looked like crap - the rest of the team looked OK). 8-8 for us?

Anyway, damn it's good to have football back!!!
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in the boat and drink beer all day...

Yeah Levar, now that Charles Rogers broke his collarbone again. He should see more passes come his way.

I remember we he came out of Odessa Permian High , the holy grail of Texas high school football, he headlined that amazing recruiting class in 2000.

Well.. another shitty year is forseen for my Dolphins. They refuse to keep a QB in, have no great RB.

I heard Ricky might wait a year and come 'out of retirement' to go to the Raiders who already said they would buy his contract. If he does that, I will personally assassinate him.

I dont suppose Ahman Greens 120 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns on one of the best defenses in the league had anything to do with the Packers winning. Oh and lets not forget Favre going 15 of 22 and the only time the panthers awsome front four got to him was on coverage sacks. [sarcasm]Yeah I agree with you whole heartedly, the Pack didnt beat the panthers, the panthers beat themselves[/sarcasm] :tard:

I do feel bad for Dolphins fans, I can't believe what that team is going through. Ricky Williams is a moron if he thinks he can take a year off to fly around Asia and smoke weed, then come back to the Raiders. Why the hell would he want to be on the Raiders. With his help, the Dolphins are a pretty good team.
