The Sox were 3 outs away from being swept, 4-0...and gutted out the biggest come-back in baseball history against the toughest team in the past 8-10 years.

Amazing.

Joe Torrey is as classy a person in baseball as there can be. Gracious in defeat, and complimentary in victory.

The Red Sox took the same approach that has led the Patriots to 20 straight wins; one game at a time.

This is the sweetest, most glorious win in Boston sports history. With everything on the line, history hanging over their heads and the 900lb-gorilla that is the Yankees they scrapped and fought their way to an outstanding win.

Great series...both teams played their hearts out..You also have to have great respect for torre....he is the definition of class....I cant wait to wake up tomorrow and see who georgy fired!!! v57 v57 v57 v57 For sox fans..this was our world series..
