got my mom a bose wave radio
got my dad a 15 amp makita skill saw and a few diamond and carbide blades(really good buy, only $115 from local hardware store.)

bose radio is worth every cent
fills up the room, i listen to alot of music
esp with red hot chili peppers
bass is really important to the sound
bose produces 1/2 octave lower than old model so ya can really hear every note flea plays :)

i got silk boxers in a cheetah print as a joke
and a cookbook on cooking seafood.
oh yeah and a friend made me a tinman. really cool.
also plenty of tamales, tritip, turkey, cookies, creampuffs, champurado (latin sweet drink made from cornmeal), and other tasty foods from Grandma. Im spoiled and most likely 10 pounds heavier. they should have got me a exercise book instead :D
