If HBO ever gave 'Deadwood' the heave-ho (like they did Carnivale) in favor of a cheaper show like 'Entourage', I would go insane. It's something I worry about. For a little while it looked like they were thinking of abandoning the 'big' dramas (since Six Feet Under left and The Sopranos is set to leave) and maybe just try to cash in on their reputation for a few years, reap pure profit. Companies have a habit of killing the goose that lays the golden eggs.

Ouch, that hurts. If it makes you feel less 'alone' I just got laid off Friday, 3 months on the job. I've been working as an electronic technician lately, for a contract manufacturer (they make things for other companies). The company we were building for got bought by another company, so temporarily, no work. This after getting laid off in the summer by a company that decided to move it's work to Indonesia. No big deal, you got your ups and your downs. I can remember the days of knowing exactly how much you had in the bank, right down to the penny. You'll be rolling in the dough someday! I might go back to school, get a degree in Business. My degree is in comp-sci, but I minored in Business Admin, so I have all but maybe two semesters worth of the credits. Maybe I'll get a govt job and steal everything that isn't nailed down

But I am not even getting excited. My post shows no emotion at all. I have read it over a few times, and still I do not see it.

I do not get how I am taking things personal or getting all excited and need to 'breathe, breathe'

I am honestly at a loss for how anyone could get that at all.

True, it's the internet, so it's possible that we read too much into your posts, but so many of your posts seem angry, combative, full of contempt. Rather than recognize that other people have different opinions, it seems like you set out to prove (with logic) that people's personal preference are wrong. Again, it's just perception, maybe we are reading it all wrong. Everybody disagrees at some point, it just seems like any disagreement with you involves a person being 'wrong, stupid' full of shit, etc'

My post was exagerrated for comic/dramatic effect. It was obvious to normal people that it wasn't intended to be taken literally. Trying to take apart a post like that and comment on it's factual content was clearly just intended to make me look small. If you don't see that then you realy are quite socially retarded.

Anyway what was this thread about? :D

You know, you were involved in the last one where I wasn't being rude or attacking, and then added what is in my sig below.

I'll make it simple and make a lot of people happy.

Bye.

So, ask yourself why you are constantly being misunderstood. Is it really bad luck? Is it your avatar? Why do people feel you're a little harsh? Or do you think it's just me. I don't dislike you Tango, I would just like to see you have opinions that don't always lead to posts of 'Your'e wrong, and let me show you point by point how wrong your opinion is'
Your sig is funny but it doesn't change the nature of your posts.
