Closing our borders

Nope it aint. But it has enjoyed a great deal of freedom supported by the US.
Of course, I am probably mistaken. We all know how much an army that is only good at medicine (Not my words)is capable of defending its homeland.
Yes, agression is often put off by an army that has perfected immunizations and tourniquets.

Geez, you guys suck more with every post. The oil argument has so many holes that mice mistake it for Swiss cheese.
Thanks for advocating the murder of President Bush. That just lets us openly know just how useless you are. I don't see any Americans here wishing for the death of European leaders that disagree with the US.
only thing i say is you guys need a leader who aint insane in the brain ! but you need a leader whos cool!
the war costed biljards! you guys could pay whole africa food with that money!

If the US abandoned Europe, you guys would bitch that America didn't care about you. Who would protect you...France?
You guys' brilliant reasoning is that radical Muslims won't bother European countries that don't participate in the war. So when it happens anyway, by your own reasoning you won't be able to blame the US....but you will anyway. It's just so fun to blame the US for everything.

What the hell are they teaching you kids in Belgium, good grief.
Beast, I thank the Lord everyday we have a president like Bush in office. My God can you imagine what Gore would have done after 9/11, scary thought.
I'm sure he would have tried to bore the terrorists with some economics lecture and send them on their way. Or he would have did what Clinton loved to do, fire a couple missles into an aspirin factory and kill a couple of maintinence workers. Or his favorite target, camels. Then pound his chest for the camera's.

How about a peadophile/rape border. Instead of incarcerating criminals convicted of sexual crimes in this country , we station them on the border, and evey traveller gets sexually assualted trying to cross into our borders. That would reduce traffic. But, the Al Queda might like that too much
sick bastards.
this said Cid, well this is acting like a little kid, you gonna say that he made a joke about Al quada, well i made a joke about america, accept it...
and my "easy way of thinking" seems to be too difficulet for you guys to give me a normal answer instead of blaming that i don't agree you guys...
and man, i posted the number of crazy killing people in belgium... i had two groups... in america, you have hundreds... and we don't let them in the army or give them nades... (i wonder if we actually have usable nades...
)
and last but not least: if there happens something like that in belgium, i would blame the goverment... but i wouldn't have a chance cause 5 minutes after it happens the ministre of justice or defence (depends where it happend) would have resigned...
in america Bush tells he's sorry and he will ensure everyone that it won't happen again... in belgium the ministre accepts that it was his responsibility and that he failed to do his job so someone else would maybe do it better...
sick bastards.

What's cool? Clinton? Cool doesn't make a leader.
Bush is a leader, Blair is a leader. Leaders shape public opinion, they don't follow it. I would rather have a leader than someone who's "cool".

then Bukkake: that's something else i don't like about american president: 3 candidates doesn't mean one of them is good enough... i doubt if you guys still have democratie with all the power your president has...
and about what htey teach us: nothing, at school we don't even mention it... and in the news half the time is for some stupid problem in antwerp...

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The
decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling
which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The
person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight,
nothing which is is more important than his own personal
safety,is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better
men than himself." - John Stewart Mill
I think this describes our fine European friends well.Regardless if they agree with us or not I cant believe they wouldnt see it is our right to do what we feel is necessary for our country.Being part of the international community does not make us a slave to it.At the end of the day we do what is right for us and the world.

I happen to think he is quite "Cool". He has the intestinal fortitude to actually DO something. Not sit in endless debate.
As to the war costing billions, yes it is. And that price tag will well be worth it when the Iraqi people no longer live under that dictator. I also noticed you selectively forgot to mention the $20 billion being spent to feed the Iraqi people. Curious how you might overlook that.
And while we are on the subject, exactly how much is the Netherlands spending to feed Africa? Or is that only the responsibility of the US?

Wasn't a bad war? Are you crazy? Thousands of American lives were lost. Millions of other lives were lost.
If not for some of your previous posts, I would just attribute this thoughtless statement to your lack of English-language nuances.

Wasnt a bad war for the USA? In what way? Millions of civilians killed in that war to end a dictators rule. But now people whine about a few deaths to do the same thing?
How do you get off saying ti wasnt a bad war? You mean the reasoning? Is it because that war actually served your purpose and this one doesnt? I really dont see how ending a dictators rule in 1945 is better that ending one now. Care to explain?
