I will play the waiting game on Planetside as I learned a HEAVY lesson from the botched release of WWII Online.

That said, I will wait until Sony irons out all the inital release bugs that acompany genre-defining games like this one.

i read about the game online...the weapons, implants, vehicles, etc, etc.......VERY COOL! :cool:

Apparently it is WAY to late for me to try and get in the beta

have fun guys and don't forget about playing 1942 once in a while.

So far Im not all that impressed. Waiting for people to form squads and get in the drop ship, its a little too boring for me. But I havent been playing with any one I know yet either. Ill keep meesing with it though when Im not playing BF.

You don't have to be in a squad.. Just go solo for a while and find some big battles, there are usually squads you can join there to get xp.

I only put my app in for the open beta a few days ago Enjin. Give it a shot, not like there is anything to lose... Besides the more people I know in the game, the more fun I am likely to have.

I was given to understand that the open beta began today... Perhaps that is when they are mailing the disks out...?

Apparently there was some postal snafu and they just sent out the bulk of them today. And when the beta open cd's arrive they will be doing a mega patch and wiping characters.
