Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Do high schools still have smoking areas? I never smoked myself, but when I was going there was a designated smoking area and all the jocks/sluts/goths/trenchcoats were always there.

These days though at the same school they've "outlawed" smoking, I think it's even a suspension-worthy offense.

Zero Tolerance rules.

-No tobacco
-No alcohol
-No drugs
-No sexually explicit 'activities' (does not include making out in halls, but includes sex)
-No weapons
-No violence

In my school - 2 fights and you're expelled and sent to Alternate School until next year (depending on academic and behavioral/offense records)

No sex and violence?!? And you said you had freedom..........

I know in Florida we have statutes in tack that fines students if they are smoking in bathrooms. If found outside they are repramanded pretty bad as well, just no fine. Basically what Evan said, Zero Tolerance.

WTF are u talking about, u never had a girlfriend in highschool or a friend with benefiets, i've seen my fair share of these, i'm a junior in high school this year, by the way, or were you one of the kids that no one talked to and looked like you had a hit list, and half of the girls in my grade are total skanks, and your telling me you stayed at home and whacked off, it's called PARTY'S man, PARTYS, you go there and get "serviced" then get drunk and go to a friend's house cuz your parent's would kill you if you went home. Maybe the times have changed and we are a morally bankrupt teenage society now, eh, but i like it, good times. :D :D

Girlfriend? whats that? The only girlfriend I had was my mother's fur coat, or that bottle of hand cream. Party's? I went to my little cousin's birthday once, he had a pony and some cake, if thats what you mean, but 2 cups of soda was plenty. Benefiets? dont know what that is, sorry:freak:

No guys I'm really not lieing, a friend with benefiets is a chick u do stuff with, and don't get emotionally attached, basicly it's an easy way to get ass. One girl in my grade that gave he@d for the first time and it took her 45 minutes, she gets made fun of all the time, especially during class elections when she was running for historian (take pictures for the yearbook) and during her speech all the guys were yelling "Go 45" or just "45", it was a riot.

COL.BUKKAKE your a hilarious guy, very witty responses.

So being a junior puts you in grade 9 if I understand correctly.

I've taught chemistry to that grade 10 years ago. :D

No, being a Junior is 11th grade

9th = Freshman
10th= Sophomore (yes, there is an "o" in the middle)
11th= Junior
12th = Senior

Not looking for sympathy or bitchin, I would give my life for my kids. There is no feeling in the world like it, maybe someday Xenius you'll find that out. I was just making a point, echoing Cpl. Bingham, that going to High School, albeit to the High Schooler himself is rough, it pales incomparison to growing up.

Dont forget Xenius, I have done it all, including college, career, family. When you get there, and you will, because we all have to grow up (I'm only 32),you tell me what part of your life did you fret over the most, for no reason, High School. ;)

Aye, I agree, It just seemed like you were using kids as an excuse why the rest of life was harder. IN reality, you need no excuse, HS is just plain easy ;)

We have a winner!

Just trying to correct Chacal, cuz he thought Juniors were as low as Freshman.

And I took Chem in 10th grade and in 11th grade I'm taking AP Chem which is a college level class, so I get college credit for it. :P :P :P :P

Not to burst your bubble, but whether you get college credit depends on your score on the AP final and what college you go to. :)

I took several AP classes in High School and did not get credit for one or two because of the college I chose.

My lowest score was on AP English; I got a 3 out of 5. :(

This year I'm taking Computer Science - C++/Java.

In my senior year I will be taking AP Computer Science - C++.

And my college will take those credits too.
