Ditto, SEETHER. Personal pro-life, but govt pro-choice. Within reason - it should be treated liek the serious medical procedure it is, not like fast food.

What I hate is the US government pays for this (if you are on govt. assistance). If you choose to have the procedure, then pay for it yourself... Don't make me pay for your freakin' abortion! Damn... I pay for enough crap as it is! :)

I think that a lot of uneduacted/poor people use this as a form of contraception. Come on people... wise up and use a condom!!

Here here. I don't have kids, so I shouldn't have to pay any kind of education tax. And I don't fly, so I shouldn't spend any money subsidizing that industry. And I don't agree with most military interventions, so I want the right to withold tax-moneys on that. And I'm not old, so I don't want my money used to help old people. I don't watch tv, so I don't want any of my tax-money being invested in state-run programming. I don't have anything to gain from upheavals in the Sudan or Nigerea or whatever--don't spend my tax-money on intelligance or military interventions there. And i definately don't want ANY of my tax-money used to further the ends of uber-wealthy elite families or corporations and their various interests. :freak: If only it could be so.....

Having known several women who have gone through thie procedure, I can quite assuredly tell you that the VERY invasive procedure of having an abortion done--on ANY of it's various levels (emotional, physical, mental, spiritual) is devestatingly difficult for most women. When I say most, I'm talking 99.9999999999999999999999999999 percent. Obviously, someone strung out on crack or whatever and within inches of death doesn't have a lot of morals, but you can hardly use that very rare case as an example of the vast majority of women who deliberate over this issue for agonizing moments. And probably reflect on it for the rest of their lives.

This is indeed a touchy subject. Please refrain from asanine, trite observations.

Keek.

Oh my god people actually stepped off the cliff into this one. There is no topic hotter than the creation of life and how it's handled.

You'd need to be a masochist to want to discuss this.

Actually he doesn't want to discuss it, he just wants people to vote in the poll. I suspect it's another homework for Jeffro.

Eh if you can have this discussion in class why not have it here on the forums, of course its a touchy subject some immature people will end up flamming others but its all good. And with that I am Pro-Life.

I can't think of a more controversial topic.

The affirmative action thing is pretty controversial, that thread didn't go too badly that I remember. But yes, this would be worse if anything.

How's everyone doing today? It's a beautiful day here in sunny Texas. cloudy skies, high's in the mid-70s, slight winds, with a 10% chance of showers.

It feels great to be alive!!!

I feel there is a need for abortion, just think if there werent, how many more f-ed up people this world would have running around!

Seriously, rape victims, young teens who think they know about sex and end up pregnant, deformity of the fetus(which by the way nature does a pretty good job of taking care of with miscarrages)

But I say srew the couple who let one slip and end up getting an abortion because "It's not the right time to have a child, my portfolio isnt big enough" or some pig that doesnt want her belly to have stretch marks, and think nothing of it to go to the local chop shop to have it removed. It's not a wort!

After having 3 kids, it truly is a miracle and it isnt for everyone, but some people should be held responsible for their actions. Shit, we pay a fine for littering, how bout a nice heafty one for those jack-offs who feel that any mistake can be washed away.

I havent posted in awhile, so get off my back :D
