Lunatic, yes, it is revealed in the original trilogy that Luke and Leia are brother and sister. Luke confronts Leia about it on the moon of Endor in Episode VI and then Leia tells Han about it later after the Battle of Endor.

I loved how in EP III there were almost the same exact key lines that were used in the original trilogy (for example Padme saying on her death bed...there is still good in him)

I haven't seen it yet and cannot wait. I will prob go this Thursday night. From all the reviews, it looks to be real good.
Yes, I admit to being a true star wars geek. Well, let's just say I love science fiction, space stuff, etc. I saw the original in '77 when I was 9 yrs old so it really effected me and my imagination in a good way.
My girlfriend has never seen any of the star wars films and i am making her watch episodes 1 & 2 before we go to see 3. Then we will watch 4, 5 and 6. It will be interesting to see her take on all the events in the actual order as she has never seen the original 3.

I fucking loved it as well. I was wondering last night while in the theatre about whether it'd be a good idea to watch episodes I-III first, then IV-VI, and I came to the conclusion that you should watch the original ones first, THEN the prequel trilogy. the movies appear to be set up so that if you already know what happens it'd be great to just watch I-VI in a row. but if your GF has never seen them, you should show her the originals first, then the prequels.

I thought it was well done, finally Lucas served something up that was more than filler. I want to see it again, but i know it wont hold me like it did the first time. Hope BF2 is as satisfying.

Do you remember a show back in 1996 on FOX called "Space: Above and Beyond" ? I LOVED that show and it got cancelled after one season. It was done by some of the same writers who did the better episodes of X-Files. It was kinda campy but still pretty good.

Third time is a charm, posted this pic in the wrong thread. Its a response i got back from George Lucas' press secretary in 1994. We had to write a famous person and get them to sighn a construction paper leaf for a project in my HS sophmore English class. Some of the other famous people who wrote back were: Elton John and Billy Joel. many others but i forgot who they were its been 11 years... anyway here goes.
