Ok stalker, please refrain from trying to kiss me. I followed these directions to the letter and haven't crashed since:
1) go to your chipset mfg website (mine was intel, so i went to intel.com and searched for 845g, for via, get the 4in1s). download the chipset update program.
2)uninstall your video card drivers
3) reboot
4) run the chipset update
5) reboot
6) install the catalyst drivers of your choice (i went ahead with the 3.5)
7) reboot
8) do dxdiag and notice agp tc is now enabled.
9) play swg without crashing (as i have been doing since i did this last night.)
You can probably run the latest Catalyst drivers, I haven't upgraded yet for fear of undoing all of my hard work to get Galaxies to run crash free.
