I believe in choice!!!!!!!!!!!

Let the women choose, what they want to do with there bodies, do we want wire hangers doing the job

and the stem cell research will help us all one day
(partial to it, because I have a kidney transplant)

hearts, lungs, skin, corneas, livers and pancreas (-sp), all always in full demand!!!!!!!

Im pro life as some of you could have probably guessed.
I dont know, I guess there is just something unsettling knowing that people pay a doctor to take scissors and jam them in the back of their baby's skull and then rip their brains out. That or using a vacuum to rip the baby limb from limb. But hey, they dont want to take responsibility for their actions so what else could they do, right?

But what if the person seeing the abortionist is a rape victim, or a victim of incest

those cases are a very small percentage of abortion cases.
There is a pill that you can take within 24 or 48 hours after the rape that will prevent you from getting pregnant. that or adoption.

The problem with that Dogg, is most rape victims dont admit what had happened to them and by the time they find out they're pregnant a month will have past. I think under certain circumstances, there has to be a controlled procedure to help women-girls in these cases.

Yeah I understand that. Thats where adoption comes in. There are plenty of couples that arent capable of having childeren, but desperately want one.

Then when the child grows up, and wants to meet with the real parents, she's going to find out that her mom abandoned her and her dad is a rapist.

then ask her that if the decision had been up to her, would she have wanted to live or die?;) I think most people in that situation would still be glad to be alive dont you?

Yeah, but it would still be traumatizing

I totally agree with you on the adoption, but would you want to adopt a baby that comes from a monster and lets not forget the hell the woman or girl will go through for 9 months carrying around a reminder of the pain and suffering she had to endure.

Having a child is supposed to be one of the greatest and sattisfying moments in a persons life, not an agonizing one. I think considerations should be made, but not for people that are unwilling to ownup to their slipups.

In Keekanoo's post a page back he commented on how much trauma a womean goes through that has had an abortion (I'm figuring hes speaking of a normal relationship) because deep down she knows what she did is wrong, the procedure is painless; so why else would she beat her self up afterwards for years to come?

As for the abortion debate, I am not going to take part other than to mention that I think Roe v. Wade was wrongly decided. Probably the main reason this remains such a controversial topic is that there hasn't been a real debate on the subject in this country thanks to the Supreme Court. I'm just glad to see Bukakke is back.

When I look at my 3 month-old daughter, I get angry to think there are women who would actually kill their unborn children as a matter of convenience. There definitely are some sticky areas in this debate, but 'convenience' isn't one. If convenience were debatable there would be no dead-beat dad laws. It's not even an excuse.
