Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Because it looked shit and relied way to heavily on special effects over plot. CGI licks balls unless it's used subtly.

Well, having grown up reading Hulk comic books and experiencing the puzzlement that came from watch the TV show which in no way resembled or followed the comic books, I think he got it far more right visually than wrong. And yes, it was heavily CGI. I don't see any other way of doing it. Models would look extremely cheesey.

Maybe it just isn't meant to be made into a film...

Perhaps a incredibles type animation would have been appropriate. All I kept thinking the whole way through the film was 'wow this looks expensive, what a waste of money, I prefered the tv show...'

I think that's the crux of the issue. There are many people who think of the TV show when they think of The Hulk which I've already said had almost nothing to do with the comic book it was based on. The comic book and the movie are compatible.. the TV show and the comic book aren't. Maybe you'll pick up some comic books or download them then perhaps you'll have a different opinion. :) Mind you, I'm not saying it was a particularly GOOD movie. I thought it was OK and not piss poor.

It occured to me that if 'Brokeback Mountain' had been about two hot looking 20-ish *cowgirls* who fell in love, I might have gone to see it! :)
Maybe starring Anne Hathaway (one of the costars in it) and Jessica Alba? The theatre would have been sold out and full of both men and women (what a date movie!), and it definitely would have won the Oscar for best picture. Ang Lee only got it half right.

Although whats worse about the "brokeback Mountain" Than the film itself, is that its probably destroyed the cowboy/western genre for decades to come, no one will make any more because it will be called gay.
