Charlie you need to build an embassy to join an alliance.

Building a new colony means you have two towns smacker

How do I join the GofW alliance? And also, what happens when I build a new colony?

You must build an embassy in one of your towns. Then send a request to join the alliance in game. You are able to build an embassy after you research foreign culture.

When you build a colony not much changes. It is just like starting your first town. The new colony gets 2 action points which is nice because now you can do four moves. level up both of your town halls to 5 and both towns get 3 actions points. Gives you many more options to do things.

On a side note. I think we should use the GofW protected forum to discuss anything in detail. Wouldn't want an enemy to get good info from here.

.com is also free. Thats where i used to play before i joined .org. .com is just a few updates slower and even gayer forum mods.
