In a nutshell?
"You can't change the coach in the middle of the game"
Iraq is Bush's mess, and he needs to fix it...nobody else.

It basically comes down to what kind of government you believe in. Republican or Democrat. I am somewhere in the middle and I wish the Libertarian Party was just as big as the other two and had as much of a chance at winning but that is not going to happen any time soon.
So you ask yourself, Do you want big government, big taxes, big regulation, big social programs? Or - little government, little taxes, little regulation, little social programs?
That is putting it VERY simple but you can read up on the political parties in detail to see thier platform.

Actually, small amounts in your home are legal in Alaska to begin with.Originally posted by cavalierlwt
2. Alaska had the wildest Prop up for vote: the completed and unfettered legalization of pot. From what I hear, it would have been legal to grow, smoke, posess, put in brownies, whatever...
It didn't pass though. Could have been very, very interesting.
It is smart, how else do you get people to move up there?

4. Provisional ballots.
What the hell is the deal here? Here in NH you could register up to 10 days before election, then on election day you are allowed to register, then vote. Show up, show ID and proof of residency, boom! they hand you a standard ballot, you vote, it goes in the pile like any other ballot. Sounds like Ohio now has to 'investigate' these provisional ballots and insure these people are qualified to vote. Stupid. Just check the damn ID and proof of residency (a utility bill or something that shows exactly where the person lives), check and make sure you're not on the voter roll already, and let the person vote, get it over with.
In Ohio I had a provisional ballot. Cut off to register was Oct 2nd(I think). I didn't register since I already was from previous elections. In Ohio you do not have to register every election. So I was on a list that if I had a card mailed to me I coudl vote. I brought my card and they allowed me to vote. Now they have to figure out if it was really me!

Sorry, that Republican Party ended about 10 years ago. Now it is the same as Liberals, however instead of putting money into social programs, they blow it elsewhere. In no way can Bush, or Republicans voting in the Senate and Congress over the last 10 years, be classified as conservative fiscally.

Fuck Bush. Fuck this Election. Fuck all of you who voted the incompetant back in.
I find it facinating that the higher average IQ states allways seem to vote dem, and the 'hillbilly' states seem to vote republican.
Not that any of you are stupid if you live there, but you know the average IQ in cali is higher than mississipi.
