Posting sig and pics problem

I don't know why this happens but when I post a pic using the img tags, all I get is the red x. Same with my sig.
I was told it was Yahoo that does not allow hotlinking. The wierd thing is that when I am home, I can see the images and sig but not when I am at my work computer.
Why is this? why would i be able to see it at my home computer and not at another location? It shouldnt matter?

Also, can anyone recommend a free web site that i can use to upload files to as an alternate to yahoo?

Photobucket even gives you the code you need to use, it's a quality site.
