I didn't like the demo very much... Have you tried it?

May want to ask Mugzy, he came on TS the other night and said he enjoys some aspects of it.

I have been wondering if this was any good. I never got it to run decently on my rig, which is still considered high end enough to run it smoothly(P4 2.4 @ 3.3, 1 gig dual channel DDR 433 and a 9700 Pro). It was like a freaking slide show everytime I played.

I am reading some good reviews that say it basically needs to have it's physics and collision engine fixed and it would be great. Also, one pointed out that Novalogic had a 250 player server running just as smooth as a 150 player server during the BETA.

I was in all three beta's and by god, the servers were smooth up to 250. After that I think it became a hardware limitation.

Well, I got 5 games in my car. i figured I woudl trade them in and pick this up after work. Still debating if I want to drive to the mall as that is the closest place that has a store that takes PC games in trade.

Prince of Persia, Call of Duty, Tron 2.0, Star Wars KOTOR and Far Cry. Sadly, once you beat these games, i had no desire to play them again(except SW:KOTOR, which I had no desire to play after beating it as either a light or dark jedi).

Well, I was reading the posts about the new patch over at http://www.bluesnews.com According to some in there, the newest Cat drivers have bad FPS that are supposed to be fixed in the 4.7's. They recommend using the beta 4.7's or roll back to the 4.5's.

Have only been screwing around with the demo of this for the last couple of days. The game has potential. About the only way I can play it and enjoy it though is as a *shudder* sniper. Because it doesn't matter what FPS game it is, all the idiots TRY to play sniper and I get to shoot them... repeatedly. And the rest of the guys that aren't snipers I get to kill as well :D
