I deleted my old account on http://www.purevolume.com and created a new one to change my band name. And I was wondering how my cover art is. I am yet to be approved, but once/if I am, I will share you my music (self promotion, tooting my own horn, whatever you may call it).

The band name is vagabond, and so far I have only created one song under this title.

Neither am I, but I thought this picture was pretty cool.

Not sure if you will like the music or not.

Right now I'm experimenting with different styles/techniques, so you may hear a hybrid of stuff. The only part I do not like about my songs is my voice. It is too high pitched (not fury high pitched, but I want it significantly lower).

In the first song I submitted, it starts out with a old school rock feel, and then it goes into a techno/trance/hymn feel...

Yah...it's a little hard to describe.

Not a bad tune, Jeffro. Your voice isn't to high.. not like some of the new annoying bands like the Darkness, etc..

Suggestion, if I may? The break toward the end where you echo and delay the vocals and smooth out to the end. Cut it.
Your song has energy that is totaly lost in the end. You can bring it down a little in the middle.. short break. A few seconds maybe but the energy should stay throughout the song. Another thing.. It sound like you're using the keyboard for bass. Not bad but it doesn't strengthen the song, it weakens it. They should be seperate and distinct.

Sorry if you don't care for my opinions. Just a musician's perspective. Pretty kewl on the whole. Post more when you have them.

Yeah...I know the energy was lost. I had two seperate idea's running through my head. I'll cut it and make the echo part a totally different song. :)

About the bass:

Are you saying use a real bass or make the rhythem seperate or what?
