Saudi security guards beheaded

Oh my God !! And we complain about the terrorists beheading people??!
These men were beheaded by sword in public for transporting hashish/marijuana. That is unacceptable!
While I approve of capital punishment for violent crimes against other people, I do not for victim-less crimes as minor as this!

To think that some countries are on the verge of legalizing marijuana (thank god) but others behead you for it is unbelievable.
Marijuana/cannibus is a natural grown plant and should be taken off the list of illegal drugs. It's a shame that people are being prosecuted for this when there are real criminals harming other people out there.

Wow, perhaps I should move to Saudi Arabia to fulfill my lifelong dream of being an executioner... time to dust off the 'ole black hood.

Just think of all the boots you'll collect too, Murg. You can set up a second hand shoe store and make a ki...um...lots of money.

Oh, and not to be callous towards Codes post, it is scary what punishments are acceptable to Shira(sp?) law. The rules are especially harsh for women

Note how they mention how the legal system is based on Islamic holy law, just like how our judicial systems are based on the ten commandments and other religious dogma.

Before you get all mopy about how those poor drug trafficers were treated remember they grew up under that law and knew the consequences.

You can't do the time don't do the crime.

There's a short scene in Farenheit 9/11 that shows public beheadings in Saudi Arabia, it's disturbing, disturbing indeed...
