Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Email after death

Postby Mugzy » Sat Sep 25, 2004 8:53 pm

Interesting concept.

a Spanish Internet company is breaking fresh ground on the Web by offering people the chance to write one last e-mail, complete with video clip or photo attachments, and send it to loved ones, friends or even enemies after the person who wrote it is dead.

I was actually talking with a friend not too long ago, saying it would be a good thing if you could put a statement in your Will where someont would contact any forums/communities and let them know you had passed.

A few of us here have begun sharing off-line contact information, to be used in case of sudden disappearance from the forums.

lol.. How would that work in the gaming community?

Obituary for Inmate.

"Sadly to say, ECGNs resident slacking gamer has gone 0-0-1.

Most known for crashing choppers and bitching about TK'ing, Inmate will be missed."

Wow.. I really didn't have much to say about myself. Sad huh? :)

No offence, but I don't care about any of you enough to warrant notifying in the event of my death.

I think my family, friends and workplace are enough :)

This is something I know I'll be putting in my will. At least notifying ECGN if I should ever get hit by a bus or something.

make jokes, but we had a clan mate that played with us on ts one night till 2:30 am ,went to sleep and never woke up. we found out about it a month later, after sending him an email asking if he was competing or not, and his wife responded. you never know what you have or what can happen at a moments notice.
