NFL Week 6!

Postby Sabres » Sun Oct 17, 2004 7:50 am

Just thought I would get the thread started.

Who do you guys think we win the Bills vs. Dolphins game? It will be a defensive battle if you ask me. Squish the Fish!!

Peyton who? Brett who? Tom who?

Culpepper went 26/37 for 425 yards with 5 touchdowns! 5! thats his third 5 touchdown game of this year and he's only played 5 games!

Sigh.... but that defense. Sucks to be the Indy Colts of the NFC.

And I don't know about you guys but I was getting pretty sick and tired of reading on the web and in the papers and hearing in all the talk shows how the Patriots were going to lose to the Seahawks.

I am by no means a Pats fan but COME ON! There is a reason they were 19 straight undefeated... make that 20 now.

I'm still not getting on their bandwagon but watch them go 21 next week and remove the New Jersey Jets from the undefeated ranks. I don't have to like 'em but I do have to respect them.

The only question remaining for the season is this.

Who will beat the Eagles in this years NFC championship game to go on and face the Patriots?

Steelers! What a great finnish against Dallas. Big Ben is playing great at QB, and I challenge you to find a receiver who plays with more heart and less recognition than Hines Ward.

Bills vs. Dolphins  They were a combined 0-9 going into today's game.

The Vikings are putting up some mind boggling numbers on offense.

Damn Seahawks lost again!

The Patriots are definately the champs, but I still think we could have beat them. We gave them the first half of the game.

Losing to such a good team is fine though. I just wish we had lost playing our best is all.

We'd better get our shit together!

Your Seahawks should rebound just fine with a very soft schedule for the next 6 weeks.

It's crazy how the Patriots get it done week after week.

Ugh, was a miserable week for my picks. I need a win tonight just to break even. I swear trying to pick the games this week was ugly...

Cowboys almost pulled it out, almost, Steelers fans make sure to send your thank-yous for the win to the Cowboys O-coordinator and Vinny Greennuts. Obvious blitz coming, sigh...

Droughns looks like he may be the real deal, but I will hold my vote on that until the Broncos play a decent defensive team, instead of all these pansies. Shannahan has to be thanking the gods right now, he doesn't have to rely on Plummer to get points on the board (means less points off turnovers I hope).

Clinton Portis is at least demonstrating that he will play his all even when not happy about the offense, now if only he could be unhappy about them when the press isn't around?

More running backs you say? How about the young man stepping up for the Vikings? Guy had a busy night, what was it around 200-ish all purpose yards? Sure Dante put up the big numbers also, but the two go hand in hand. Just don't ask Martz about it. A running game can help the passing game? REALLY?!?!
