Anyone seen The Grudge?

Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Anyone seen The Grudge?

Postby Edogg » Sun Oct 24, 2004 7:37 pm

I saw it tonight. I would have to say it is one of the better Horror flicks to come out in a long time, and it was only a pg-13. I guess it was given poor reviews, but I dont know why. Horror flicks tend not to get good reviews anyways.

You actually think Hollywood came up with The Grudge? Nope, wrong again... This is another rip-off of a Japanese movie.

There is no such thing as originality in Hollywood, or the entertainment industry anymore. (See Ashlee Simpson Lip Synching thread.)

Rip off? The same director as the Japanese one did this version.

um, where did I say this was original? I know it is a remake.
Apparently you didnt know that the remake is done by the same director, but with a much higher budget. It is really good. I suggest you actually see it before you go ripping on it.

most horror movies are too scary for me...what a surprise eh that a horror movie would be scary?

I am just not into scary movies....prefer comedies. There are enough scary things in real life, I prefer my entertainment to entertain me and make me laugh.

I heard it was good movie.

And that it was a spinoff of The Ring.

Intersting.... I keep hearing its a dreadful movie with a bad plot development and comical "Scary" moments. I like horror movies though, I find that if they dont scare you... at the very least they entertain you.

just watched the grudge last night. it's definitely one of the scariest movies I've seen in a long time.

that clicking sound in the apartment complex really freaked me out, especially the "under the covers" part!!

I saw it since this was posted too......

..... I'd saw it was a train wreck, but a train wreck would mean it was scary...
