Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Hey guys and gals been looking for a pop up stopper, my things are outta control, I used to have one from the Ash clans web page, but went there and the link is gone, any suggestions, this one I had stopped everything, any suggestions guys a good free ware one would be awesome!!!

Just use the browsers pop up blocker. they are pretty effective

Or if you are hell bent on Explorer, use the Google toolbar with popup stopper. http://toolbar.google.com/

also. Go to http://www.download.com and search for spybot. Download the search and destroy program and use it every week or so. It gets rid of spyware and alot of programs that create popups.

You still need a blocker as well, but spybot is another necessity imo.

get the google taskbar, it has a popup blocker that blocks most popups *works fine for me*

the most up to date version of explorer(sp2) has a good popup stoper built in
I have not failed...I have just found 10,000 ways that don't work.

I do not use Microsoft Internet Exploder anymore.

Mozilla and Google tool bar

zero problems.

Try out firefox with AddBlock. Not only can you stop popups, but you can even erase banner adds:)

Remove MSMessenger from Add/Remove windows components in Control Panel, download SP2 (where IE has a built in Pop Up Blocker) and use Firefox as either a secondary or primary browser.

I get zero popups without the need for any additional payware popup killers.

They are a waste of money IMO.
