World of Warcraft
Oh. My. God.
I have honestly never been a huge RPG fan. Those games were just plain dull. Same thing over and over, blah blah blah.. but WoW... is just that. WOW.
This is possibly the best game i've ever played. I've played a lot of games, and just recently quit PlanetSide after they added Big Failure Robots, and about 50% of the veterans quit.
So, off I went and started a new community with other PS refugees, and we have been playing WoW for about 2 weeks now, and its incrediable.
There is so much to do, the game is just HUGE. It frankly never gets old, and the possibilities are endless.
Open Beta is all this week, signup at http://signup.worldofwarcraft.com and get playing. This game goes live on Nov 23.
And anyone interested in playing with the guys I play with (Including Buddahead, Boisclair and Xenius) shoot me a PM, and i'll give you the website URL and TS info.

Sounds like fun, however, I'm not a huge fan of fantasy games.
One Massive RPG (or whatever you call em') that caught my eye was "The Matrix Online". I don't have too much detail on it, but I was a Matrix movie fanatic for a while.

I can, only if the game is worth it.

Yeah...a good game is worth spending $10 or $15 a month on. Just think of how many hours you spend playing it, then try to find some other form of entertainment that is so cheap.
2 movies = 5 hours for $15....compare that with a MMORPG that you play for 2 or 3 hours a night for $15 a month or less...it really is a good value if the game is fun.

Yeah this is probably the only game I'll be playing starting 2005 I've never been a fan of MMOs thinking them boring and repetitive but after participating in the first stress test I honestly can't wait for this game. Recently I've begun to withdraw from games alltogether so maybe if I pay to play I will be more dedicated to playing games. I've entered the phase of "Too old for this shit" when it comes to most games but WoW will allow me to putz around, fish and relax in a virtual cool looking world.
I'll get back to you after the game comes out what server im on and names if anyone gives a rats azz.

14 a month is nothing, it's the same price as going to the movies... yet you can play as long as you want the whole month. I might get this game
