Did they fixed those issues while playing punkbuster enabled servers and catalyst 4.10 resulting in a system hang?

NEVER have had that problem, on multiple servers (bf42 only though)....you sure that's a real driver issue and not something else?

I have not tried previous catalyst drivers but I have read in many forums that installing catalyst 4.10 caused the system to freeze after joining a server with punkbuster enabled ( as an example RTCW, ET, Quake 3 etc...)

I'd suspect either the .NET framework (required for CCC) or CCC itself, IF that's the version those people were using. Otherwise, guess I just dodged the bullet.....

New ones don't mention it, so I dunno if it's fixed or not..... but they have apparently fixed the KOTOR bugs, and boosted performance on all 256mb cards (woot!)

Is the 9700 a 256mb card or 128mb?

I played with it last night and didn't really notice any difference...so little or no improvement is better than making things worse I guess!

9700 is 128mb

9800np, pro are 128mb

9800xt (mine) is 256mb

I think most of the x series is 256, but I could be wrong (too lazy to go check :) )
