I won an iPod!
For a while there's been a thing only for Americans to get their free iPods, most of you know what i'm talking about.
About a month ago (October 3rd) pepsi Canada opened a contest like no other. Every hour they will be giving away an ipod until christmas. So now us Canadians have a good chance to get our free, $400, iPods.
I didn't even spent a cent, since it's a law in Canada for every promotion to have a No Purchase Nessesary option, I was able to do surveys to get pin numbers (limited to one pin number per house, per hour) for the draws.
I entered in only 7 hourly draws and won my ipod 7:00am this morning!
Any other Canadians here win an iPod? I suggest you enter the contest every waking hour until christmas, there's a good chance that you'll win.

Why? I've certainly seen many better MP3 players than iPOD that cost less for the same features and sometimes even more features. Only reason iPOD is so expensive is because it's the only mp3/acc file player that works with macs.Originally posted by Evan
The iPod blows everything else out of the water IMO.

it even plays mp3's and cdrw's
someday ill get an "mp3 player" but not for $400

never heard of this pepsi thing...do you have a site?
http://www.pepsi.ca is the site. You should see the ipod promotion on the front page. You have to register to enter the draws. If you want to get a free pin number without purchase, go to "rules & regs" and you'll see a link in rule #7 for the survey.
Enter one draw per hour and you might eventually win.

Good luck.

It does kind of suck to have to do it every hour...
However! Since the draw starts over every hour, that means that all pins entered already would be invalid... which means that everyone new (ex: me) to the contest would have an equal chance of winning.
You can also collect pins and dump them on one hour... I've read about people who dumped hundreds (600 was the most i've heard of) and lost, while I tried doing it 1 pin/hour and won.
Here's a forum about the contest, you can get more tips/info there.
