And thee goes the battlefield series to utter crap. This will be just like the medal of honor series, EA buys it and turns it into EA's version, which is watered down 'new games' that are really just expansion packs.

After BF2, do not expect another good game in the Battlefield series.

Yeah, nothing was as fun as tank rushing with a thousand mammoth tank from the GDI or Stalin MK II heavy tanks from the soviets. xP

I liked to turn bases off and set a random tech level, that is where the fun was. Otherwise it was just who could build tanks faster.

i've basically lost interest in computer games anyway. BF2 will probably be my last purchase.

I haven't lost interest, but the games that have been coming out are sub-par. Or maybe I'm justing getting tired of gaming...who knows. In a couple of years, I'll probably sell my games cause I need the money badly.

I've gotten more into planetside. I have the BFR cert right now, and I have decided BFRs are crap. I'm going to take back my rexo, get special assult and use my pwnzor combat engi and adv med to kill some BFR pilots, leavng their BFR ready for hacking! (radiator kills the pilot but doesn't damage the BFR, making for in a group, a good way to get non-empire BFRs, since I don't like BFRs, and the vanguard is faster and almost as good as BFRs.

I've also been able to kill BFRs with my lightning (they rearanged the certs! Yay! So now the cert requirment is Lightning>vanguard>BFR>anti infantry, anti air
2 certs >1 cert >3 certs>1 cert each

SO vanguards cost the 3 certs but you get the lightning (light tank) with them now!
But a 100% BFR character takes about
8 cert points, then you will want the basic engineer cert to repair yourself to 11 cert points :o

I like the rexo with guass or sweeper, enhanced targetting and audio implants seem to give me an edge, especially for incomming max units! (Gives me a chance to run away, or ready my AP ammo)

That is what I hope to end up with I only need one more BR (18) to get the special assualt!
