You fly the E-3? Interesting choice... Can you fly other military planes in FS too?

Yep. You can pretty much fly anything, from F-18's to Boeing B-52's. Some are payware models (like the E3 above by Captainsim) however many freeware military planes can be found on simviation.com or avsim.com. Pretty cool to shoot an approach into real weather. :)

I also have the Alphasim SR-71 Blackbird. Talk about a monster aircraft!

Toe,

Have you ever tried X-Plane? If not, go get the demo. Its a lot more realistic then Microsoft FS.

Played it Mugzy, don't care for it. It is more realistic, but lacks in too many areas for me.

I love eye candy! :D

Hey Toe did you ever play CFS2? Man I use to play that game online for hours on end. Had alot of fun doing the bombing runs and of course just the good ole dog fighting.

Oh yeah Wooky! Once IL-2 came out, that's all I played though.

Ever try the online combat flight sim Aces High? I had a blast on the free trial, but can't bring myself to pay a monthly fee to play more.

Man, makes me want to go out and get FS 2004. I have 2002, but the graphics aren't as good as that! :D

Attica, yeah you really should get 2004...you get to fly a lot of classic playes (Piper Cub, Wright Flyer, DC-3, DH-88 Comet, and many more). You can also fly some historic flights, you can select pre-created weather patterns, there's an improved ATC (Air Traffic Control) system and a lot more. I wish they kept all the planes from 2002 though - it seems some are missing. But it's a fun game if you like flying although it might be a bore for some people.

Haven't got it installed at the moment but I dig it out every now and then...
