Punkbuster

I recently reinstalled BFV along with with newest patch. For some reason when I try to check the "enable punkbuster box" I am getting an error stating that it can not be enabled. Any ideas out there on what the heck I'm over looking?:confused:

In every game that uses punkbuster there is a file called pbweb.exe

Here is an example from Enemy Terretories.

Just goto your Battlefield folder, then intot eh PB folder, there should be a folder called pbweb.exe

Double click it, and if your firewall asks you to allow or disallow, click to allow it.

It can take several minutes to update even it looks like it isn't doing anything. Just wait until it is done.

I checked it out. I don't have a pbweb.exe folder. Everything but that exsists.

pbweb.exe file. Was half way asleep when I was typing that.

Tried all of the above and pb still can't be enabled. still works for bf though. very confusing!! anyway, thanks for the info guys. if anyone else has an idea let me know!! BFV has once again picked up steam and i'm miisin' out!!
