Need help

Hi guys,

Can you give me some help 'cause theres a virus on my dads computer. Its known as Downloader.Rameh.E, it gets detected my AVG but it doesnt heal it or you cant delete it or move it to the virus vault. Or if you try to delete a file associated with it then it still comes back..I need help!

Ive also tried loads of Spyware eliminaters like AdAware and Spybot but to no avail. :help:

Please if anyone can help me please post here.

i think norton and Panda have an online scanner.. avg isnt very good imo.

The thing i cant connect to the internet because the virus downloads a load of files (containing over 18 content) and the screen gets filled with it so that isnt an option

Check the task manager first to see if the file is actually running, if it is... end that particular task then you should be able to delete it... thats usually the case

so... CTRL + ALT + DEL... then task manager... then processes...and see if the virus is listed in it....

worked a couple of times for me

Burn what you need to a CD, then load it up onto your PC that is infected.

It's it's cd-rw don't put it into a drive that can burn images.

You could use afloppy and lock it, but I don't think it would be small enough.
