The key word here is "AND" ,meaning "and also" had a pre existing risk of psychosis.
This statement should not apply to those in normal health condition. Sure, if you have a previous condition of any sort, you should not partake in any drugs or alchohol. But that is up to you.
The article also mentions that studies of pregnant women who smoked cannibus showed changes in the brians of thier children later in life. Let me just say "DUH!" Pregnant women who smoke or drink anything are entirely too stupid to be having children in the first place.

People worry too much about canabis if you ask me. Most people I have known to use cannabis use it recreationally not regularly. I'm not saying it's a good thing I just think demonising it makes it more appealing to alot of people. It's about balance which posters threatening prison really fall short of.

pot is just like alcohol, so im glad we're going to decriminalize it

occasional use won't mess you up. it's just like booze- if you drink non-stop you have a greater chance of getting liver cancer. if you smoke up non-stop you're increasing your risks for lung cancer.

Depends on the person. Its not pot that makes you lazy, its you. I smoke and am not lazy, alot of my friends smoke and are not lazy, but I do have one friend who smokes and is a lazy clownshoe of a fuck.

Well, I teach literature and history at good-sized suburban high school, and probably 85%+ of the kids in our school who smoke dope are "lazy clownshoe (of a) fucks" who don't give a flying fuck about their education...they're having too much fun getting high between classes. Funny thing is, none of my Honor Roll students who are getting advanced acceptance university scholarships smoke dope.....

I see the need for stoners in our society though. I mean, I still need someone to pump my gas and bag my groceries...pick up the dog shit on my lawn....there's a place for them, don't get me wrong. That place is just the bottom of the food chain.

Sigh. Did u guys miss the post a few days prior"when will it happen"? Anywho, hahhaaha , ha, h , its a matter of what grade of mary j u smoke, first of all. If ya smoke an ounce a day of ragweed, cause it doesnt get ya high, then ya, its really bad for u. If ya have high grade, u dont have to smoke much to get a buzz. Some smoke because they wanna get a buzz, and others smoke for medicinal reasons. There is no reason to drink alcohol, or smoke cigs, for medicinal reasons, because they do nothing beneficial. Eating mary j is relatively harmless, but u have to eat a lot, and the buzz is not as intense. Smoking it isnt good, but I cant see it being near as bad as cigs, if u smoke at least a pack a day, and if ur only smoking one or two doobies a day. Ive never met anyone, or known anyone who got any lung diseases associated with cigs, if they smoke herb only. It comes down to mary j, as long as its good quality, is much more beneficial, and much less harmful to your body than cigs or alcohol, so why are they legal?

I think anything gets out of hand when it becomes an addiction and you are just a little dependent on it.

Like I said before at its worst it will unmotivate you and if you want to pull the health card? Then why are cigarettes legal? But ofcourse noone really cares about this they just go back to bashing Marijuana.

Awe, give it up. People have been smoking since damn way back so why would they stop now. Same as drinking, smoking cigarettes and whatever else people like to do during there spare time. It's not gonna stop just because others don't approve.

You obviously have no idea just how many people use it. People from lazy bums to corporate managers smoke it. Not everybody who smokes pot is stupid and unmotivated, or unsucessful.

You'd be surprised who you probably know / work with ect that smoke it.
