I don't understand how men could become the dominant species.

What do you expect after thumping the gator in the head five times. Serves him right.

Normally they don't bite unless something touches the inside of their mouths. They can't see infront of them to know to close their mouth.

The guy touched the gators tounge so he KNEW there was something to chomp on. The guy who got his head bit was bit because he was sweaty and the sweat rolled off him into the gators mouth.

As far as whackin the gatorsa nose, dunno.

I agree with the nose whacking thing. Although I am not sure if gators are smart enough to get pissed off. You get what you deserve though.

See that's just it, Gators are much smarter than we give them credit for. That Gator let himself get caught, let them think they had 'trained' him. He knew it was just a matter of time before he could train the stupid humans to think they could put their hands in his mouth. Look at the genius of it, an obvious predator sits there with his mouth wide open, teeth in full view, and he still managed to hoodwink that guy into puting his big juicy hand right in the Gator's mouth!
