dont really understand this but i guess that i will address it. i am 34 years old with a 13 yr old son. while i am sure that he has seen the whole kitty and kaboodle there is still no reason to have it seen all the time. the internet is bad enuff without having to drag soft core porn onto OUR forums. so couple of questions to ask yourself...one day when and if you have a child would you want an impressionable mind that absorbs everything seeing sex sex sex all the time?...and is having that avatar really that important to you?...would you stop coming to these forums if we could not have any avatar at all?

Please consider your alternatives and show some common decency and respect for the younger generation.

and we thank you for your support....thats all i have to say about that.

Since you're asking for opinions, no, I don't see anything sexual on these forums that would be remotely offensive to a 13-year-old male.

I think kids should see more sex and less violence and weapons and military TV shows, but that's another subject.

I dunno...while i see your point... I mean... yesterday I was browing threads and I noticed the superbabes thread had a girl in an...um........ reverse-thong where the thong part is on the front...it basically showed the ENTIRE thing save for the 1mm string covering the middle...im surprised it stayed up. (if you're yadad's son reading this, I wouldn't recommend going to see the pic... its really nothing

) I wasn't shocked or disgusted or anything.... these forums are saturated with testosterone, so I dont really expect anything less

BUT..... i think sex and provocative stuff on the internet is one of the least of the concerns for teenagers. Its the violence and misinformation i'd be worried about.... some people write things that can be more harmful for someone to 'learn' (of any age, really) than witnessing a racey picture or animation. I've seen people adopt very dangerous and destructive opinions from very non-credible sources and just take it to the line and run across it.

Im sure your son is smart and realizes women aren't just sex objects and all that jazz, and honestly, he'll probably look at that stuff in some form or another.... so its probably safest to see it on a forum like this where its intended to be taken lightly and with some form of respect. Almost everyone I've come into contact with on ECGN is pretty respectful even if they can be very 'male'

..... he probably sees worse tastes in snoop dogg videos on TV, and im sure he just shrugs his shoulders

the superbabes thread is there for specifically that reason... to isolate it from the ones that dont want to see it all the time. dosent that make sense? post all the bodaciousness in there that you want...if we dont want to see it we dont have to look in that thread. putting Av's up with that content you are forcing it on everyone regardless of wether or not they want to see it.

I see nothing wrong with a 13 year old boy looking at sexually suggestive images. Its a natural thing, and does not hurt anyone.

I think the US is so backwards when it comes to sex/violence.

Its ok to see a bunch of huge guys trying to crush each other, but a nipple shown for less then a second results in millions of dollars spent in fines, investigations etc.

yes...i really dont know any1 that isnt a half ass decent person on ECGN...which brings me back to this....
why is it that important for you to have an av like that?
if some1 has objections and they voice them and they are valid reasons arent we all mature enuff to respect others?
its just an avatar...many forums don give you a choice of av's at all...this could be a dictatorship.

i personally was offended when i saw that video of the asian man abusing the aligator, got what he deserved imo... animals have feelings too, im sure it had an empty feeling in its stomach and decided some human arm would taste good.

IMO, (not that many care) I agree with Yadad. It's a different case having a thread devoted to more adult themes than having pics posted in common threads.

That said, I also agree with Chacal, Sex, (non-hardcore) is better than violence. I'll take that a bit further and say hatred, racism, bigotry, etc. that we are all exposed to daily.

I will not let my son (he's eleven) play BF regardless yet. He needs to mature a bit. Once a person realizes the difference in reality verses fantasy then it’s a whole new ball game.

Now, personally after playing with Yadads son, we all know he is very mature... sort of scary how mature really {compliment}.

Maybe we could tone down the avatars a bit and with what we post without warning in the subject of its shock value.

Again only my opinion, perhaps the owners fill that this is an adult community, for adults by adults.

i do not want any1 to agree or otherwise...thanks all the same tho SoM for the comments....just think and show a little respect for your fellow players. used to be that men wouldnt curse/spit/smoke etc while in the presence of ladies and children. maybe its just my nature to be somewhat chivilrous...yall have played game with me...do i ever go into nme mains, do i ever base rape, fly planes over nme mains, shoot planes as they are taking off, camp spawn points, etc.
call it a character flaw i guess.
